Isolationism
-After experiencing the tragedies of the first World War, the US decided to take an isolationist approach.
-The US did not allow many immigrants during the 1920's for this reason.
-In 1924, USA helps out with the Dawes plan which was an attempt to fix the problem with reparations.

-USA stays out of world affairs and refuses to take part in the League of Nations.
