Margaret Thatcher (The Falkland Islands War, 1982)
Margaret Thatcher was the longest serving British Prime Minister of the Twentieth century. She became known as the "Iron Lady" for her hard-lined political philosophy, particularly after the seemingly pedantic victory in the Falkland Islands war. She introduced a revolution in government and economics in Britain which came to be called Thatcherism, which involved the government distance from economics, reduced public spending, and th increase in personal liberties.

Subjunctive Question: What if Margaret Thatcher had become Prime Minister at an earlier time in history? Or perhaps a later time? To what extent was her influence on the women's rights moment a function of her point of election in the history of the world?
