"The Big Three"
-The "Big Three" was made up of the three most powerful victors. Woodrow Wilson (USA), George Clemenceau (France), David Lloyd George (Great Britain). There were originally 4 member in the group which included Italian Prime Minister Vittorio Emanuele Orlando. He dropped out since his territorial claims for Fiume were denied by the group.
-Woodrow Wilson: Led American delegation, submitted the 14 points (his plan for just and lasting peace), wanted to rebuild Germany on democratic lines, wanted self determination for European countries.
-George Clemenceau: Thought opposite of Woodrow Wilson. He wanted to weaken Germany to the point where they could not start war again. He wanted to do this by demanding severe war reparations.
-David Lloyd George: Also wanter reparations, but not to the extent of France to keep Germany as a strong trade partner. He also wanted to expand his overseas empire.
