The Long March, 1934
-The Long March was a 9,000 km military retreat led by Mao.
-Conducted across China by the Red Army of the Communist Party of China (CCP).

-To fend off the Japanese, the CCP successfully used guerrilla warfare tactics.
-Consisted of concentrated forces and taking advantage of enemy limitations.
-Also included using hit and run tactics as well as asking locals for help.
